From beginning of September to mid-October, it is Apple time in Quebec !
There are a lot of orchards to choose from within an hour around Montreal. Some places will have apple picking only but some others have other fruits as well. Usually you will have to pay a fixed amount for each bag of apples you collect. This is a very fun activity to do as a family and a real sweet treat…
- lots of apple varieties to discover : cortland, empire, gala, mcintosh, paulared, spartan and more…
- different usage depending on the varieties : for baking, for eating, for sauces…
- different tastes, flavors and textures : sweet, juicy, crisp, tart, firm, resfreshing…
Following is a list of some places / farms where you can go pick your own apples. If you want your website to be added, contact us.
