Every year around mid-september, Montreal welcomes thousands of runners participating in the international marathon.
Starting from the Jacques-Cartier Bridge, the participants are going through Montreal streets and finish the race at the Olympic stadium.
Not everybody enrolls in the full marathon race (42 kms long – World record time for men : 2 hours 4 minutes and 26 seconds). The event is also open to anyone wanting to try the half-Marathon, the 10 Kms run, the 5 Kms run, the 40 Kms bike ride or the 10 Kms & 5 Kms walks.
